ICU and Critical Care

The ICU provides close monitoring and advanced support for patients with serious and life-threatening conditions. Care includes management of sepsis, severe infections, respiratory emergencies, acute exacerbations of lung disease, liver-related complications, metabolic emergencies, cardiac emergencies, shock, and multi-organ dysfunction. Dr Charanya Sivakumar has a special interest in critical care, particularly in pulmonology and hepatology, and her fellowship training in echocardiography supports bedside cardiac evaluation in emergency and ICU settings.
